The Dukes had a lot of early opportunities to put the Red Raiders away in the first half but just could not seem to deliver the blow. The Dukes mistakingly played a lot of man in the first half which lead to bad rotations and open three's for Colgate. Brady would eventually switch back to the zone but Colgate was already making their way back into the game. Fortunately, the Dukes looked solid on offense and once again everyone was getting involved. Despite a little uncertainty on defense, the Dukes played a good first half. In the second half, Brady wisely stuck with the zone and the Colgate offense struggled to find openings and easy shots. However, the Dukes poor free throw shooting favored Colgate and kept them in the game. The Dukes ultimately stuck it out 77-71, winning their third straight.

Key Offensive Takeaways
- Dukes starters continue to spread out the scoring, making everyone a threat on the floor. Dalembert lead the way with 20, Curry and Kent followed with 19 and 17.
- shooting over 50% from the field and three shows we are being patient on offense and taking the right shot.
- Vodanovich was big off the bench while Satkus faced early foul trouble (8pts 6reb)
- Dalembert proved to be unstoppable in the paint and was attacking the basket with authority and confidence (6-8 fmg/fga)
- free throws were a major achilles heal in the second half allowing Colgate to creep back into the game (missed 13, all in second half)
- should have never played man: got beat off the dribble, slow rotations to shooters, back door cuts, let Colgate get back in the game
- had a lot of lazy fouls: Dukes would get beat then slap at the ball giving Colgate extra scoring opportunities
- held Raiders to only 6 second chance points; good zone rebounding
